novemeber 20 is univeral children’s day, marking the 24th anniversary of the u.n. convention on the rights of the child. these include the freedom to access such things as clean water and education, as well as freedom from violence, abuse, marriage, exploitation, be it as a soldier or a labourer, which is to say that every child has the right to a childhood.
